Heritage Volunteers look for opportunities to help conserve and explain our heritage.
Our Evesham group
is using needlework skills to stabilise the worn fabric of two lovely early 20th altar frontals from Stanton
church, following the advice of an expert conservator. We have also made a replica veil and burse for the
communion chalice, using some otherwise redundant embroidery. Please see report for picture and details.
Meanwhile, we are in talks with the National Trust at Croome Park to see whether there are any openings for us there, and one member volunteers at Court
Barn Museum. Chipping Campden.
If our work interests you, please contact the Group Representative, (see Contacts).
