READ ABOUT US AND WHAT WE DO

The Evesham Decorative and Fine Arts Society (EDFAS) is a local society affiliated to the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS).

We hold lectures on the second Wednesday evening of each month throughout the year with the exception of March, July and August. The venue is the Evesham Arts Centre, Prince Henry's School, Victoria Road, Evesham WR11 4QH. Coffee and drinks are available from 7 pm and lectures start at 8 pm.

We arrange visits to places of historic and cultural interest, many not normally open to the public, as well as Special Interest Days.
Each year we award travel bursaries ("Young Arts") to two promising students from local schools enabling them to pursue approved projects related to their interest in the Arts.

We have a Church Recorders' group which produces detailed records of the contents of places of worship.

We run a team of Heritage Volunteers who undertake conservation work.
